Jenny McCarthy was born on 1st November 1972 in Chicago. Jenny McCarthy’s father name was Dan McCarthy and he was a steel mill foreman. Her mother name was Linda and she was a housewife. She has completed her studies from St. Turibius Grade School in Chicago. After completing her graduation from Mother McAuley Liberal High School she joined Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is the second oldest of four sisters. Her other sister’s name are Joanne, Amy and Lynette.
In 1993 in order to pay her college fee she submitted her picture to the Playboy magazine and luckily she got selected and became a model. First she became the Playmate of the Month and later the Playmate of the Year. In the same year she underwent breast transplantation to enhance her look as a model for the magazine.
In 1994, she travelled to Los Angeles where she did Hot Rocks TV show. And it was then she never looked back. In the year 1995 Jenny McCarthy was selected by MTV to host a new dating show called Singled Out, a game show that ran on MTV for almost three years. Each episode featured a group of 50 men and a group of 50 women competing for a date with one main contestant of the opposite sex. In 1996 she played a small role in a comedy show named The Stupids. The Stupids was a comedy cum adventurous film directed by John Landis. The film was based on The Stupids characters from a series of books written by Harry Allard and illustrated by James Marshall.
In 1998, Jenny McCarthy worked in the movie Basketball. It was the The David Zucker comedy feature film starring South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, along with Dian Bachar, Robert Vaughn, Yasmine Bleeth, and Jenny McCarthy. The movie involved the history of the sport (BasketBall), from its invention by the lead characters as a game they could win against more athletic types, to its development as a nationwide league sport and a target of corporate sponsorship.
In 1999 she starred in a movie called Diamonds which was directed by her own husband John Asher. The very next year, she appeared in the popular horror movie Scream 3. Scream 3 is the Scream trilogy of satirical horror films. It follows Scream 2. The film stars Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox Arquette, each reprising their roles from the first two films.
McCarthy has guest appeared in many shows like Stacked, Charmed and many more.
It was after that she appeared in many shows which earned her a great success and fame. In the year 1998 Jenny McCarthy dated her manager Ray Manzella. After breaking up with Manzella, she dated actor/director John Asher. The couple got married on september 11 in 1999. She is blessed with a son, named Evan Joseph. In the year 2005 the couple separated and took divorce.
In the year 2005 McCarthy wrote and starred in the feature film Dirty Love. In the same year, Jenny McCarthy hosted a new show called Party at the Palms. It was a reality show, which is filmed at The Palms Hotel in Las Vegas. In March 2006, she earned Razzie Awards for Worst Actress, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Picture for her work on Dirty Love.
